Privacy notice.

How we collect, store and protect the personal data you share with our clinic — through the website, WhatsApp, e-mail or in person. Compliant with KVKK (Law No. 6698, Türkiye) and aligned with GDPR (EU) principles.

1. Who is responsible

2. What we collect

• Through the website contact form: name, telephone, e-mail, message subject, free-text message.
• Through WhatsApp/e-mail: the contents of the messages you send us, including any photos or documents.
• During treatment: medical history, intra-oral scans, x-rays, treatment notes, billing data.
• Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited) retained for a maximum of 30 days for security purposes.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, behavioural cookies or marketing pixels on this website. No data is sold or shared with advertising partners.

3. Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation (legitimate interest / your explicit request).
• To plan, deliver and document medical treatment (legal obligation under Turkish medical regulations).
• To issue invoices and meet tax/accounting obligations (legal obligation).
• To defend possible legal claims for the duration of statutory limitation periods.

4. How long we keep it

• Website enquiries with no follow-up: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Patient records (treatment): minimum 20 years from the date of last treatment, as required by Turkish Ministry of Health regulations.
• Server access logs: 30 days.

5. Who can see it

Only authorised clinic personnel directly involved in your care can access your medical records. Hosting, e-mail and SMS providers act as data processors and are bound by contract to confidentiality. Records may be shared with public authorities only when required by Turkish law.

6. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11 and GDPR Arts. 15–22, you may request to: be informed about whether your data is processed; access a copy; correct inaccurate data; have it deleted (where legally possible); restrict or object to processing; receive your data in a portable format; withdraw consent at any time.

Send any such request to info@dtgokhankoyuncu.com. We respond within 30 calendar days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish KVKK Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).

7. Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own. Google Maps may set cookies if you interact with the embedded map; this is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

8. Changes

This notice was last updated on 14 May 2026. Material changes will be posted on this page.
